I think that Pipe line is a great service for the students because it allows us to access all of the previous services by having easy access tabs and it is very simple for those who lack in computer skills.

I have not used all of the services, but the ones that I do use such as accounts, class search, email and registering i find rather easy and fast to use.

I have taken many online courses and Have only had one problem that was cleared up promptly. I find the e-mail easy to use and can navigate the NSCC website easily.

They seem rather unadvanced. Adding higher tech features would make for easier usage and better options. The email system is the most primitive of all, yet the most used. Everything needs a newer, updated face.

I don't have the internet at home, and when a teacher asks the students to do an online assignment... I can come to the computer labs to complete the assigned work/research.

The pipeline is very nice to have and it gives me an oppurtunity to check out classes before I meet with my Counselor & I like how it always is telling you what is going on in the school. I think that the e-mail part where I recieve and send e-mail I have some problems with sometimes they won't send and there have been times where I haven't recieved my e-mail. Like to create an outgoing message you have to actually type out the person you want to send an e-mail to when you are in the Address book they offer you can't just click on there name and create an e-mail. Another issue I have is that the tutoring center needs more teachers, better hours and be open longer and more!!! I have been in this school over two years and I have always had a problem getting to the tutoring center, either because there aren't enough teachers or there not open. Right when classes end for me they close and they don't open until 9:00 AM, but classes start as early as 8:00 AM it just doesn't make sense.

NSCC's online services are better than many other similar schools I've looked at. There are still some usability/navigation issues that could be simplified. Overall, I'm pleased.

My online course has helped me very much. I like being able to work from home on my own schedule. Everything I need for the course is very easy to get, and communication with my professor is very helpful.

While some services are extremely essential and useful, some are prone to be unreliable and sometimes not comprehensive.

Having some computer skills to get around the system was all I needed.

Out of all the services I had to deal with in other schools, North Shore is the easiest to use and one of the best.

The NSCC web page can be rather slow. I have had a slightly difficult time finding certain information in the past. At times, it was easier to simply ask my advisor.
