This is good stuff. It can be gluten free using rice pasta, or all potatoes

This feeds 7 and calls for:

Soak beans for a day, boil them (pressure cookers are good).

Dice the yams/potatoes/carrots into small cubes (small ones take longer to cut, but less time to cook).  If you have onions or fennel or veggies that ned a lot of cooking, put them in now.  Bring the potaotes/yams/carrots to a boil then slowly lower the heat, just barely keeping the boil.  I am not sure the exact time, I usually just taste them once in a while and wing it.  You can't really overcook them if you use low heat, but this can take over an hour.

Meanwhile - cook the chicken/beef in pots.  Remove and cook veggies in pot, add miso, spices and cheese when theyre almost done.  Return meat to this pot.

Add all vegetables/meat to the potatoes/yams and beans.  Put the beef/chicken, spices, and everything else in now.

It stays good in the fridge for about 7 days using gasket-sealed containers.
