Setting Up Your Browser to Work with ANGEL
1. First make you sure are you using a compatible browser. You can find out what browser you are using by opening the browser, clicking on Help, then clicking About.
- These browsers are okay to use for PCs:
- Internet Explorer version 7 or 8
- Mozilla Firefox version 2 or 3
- For MACs, you can use Mozilla Firefox version 2 or 3.
- The following browsers are NOT compatible:
- Internet Explorer 6 or below
- Google Chrome
- Firefox 1
- Safari
- AOL
- Netscape
- If you are using AOL as your Internet service, please click here and follow the instructions or you will not be able to log into your course!
- To download the Firefox browser, click here.
2. If you are using Internet Explorer, add ANGEL to your Trusted Sites. (Instructions are here.)
3. Next, log into ANGEL on the computer you will be using and view the System Check area.
4. If you see a message that your browser is supported AND you see green checkmarks next to all items, your browser is completely set up and you do not need to take any further action.

5. If you see a message that your browser is not supported, please install one of the supported browsers.

6. If you see a red x
by any of the items, you need to change your browser settings. Click on the below next to the system requirement you have not met for instructions on how to update your computer.

To enable cookies, follow the instructions below for the browser version you are using. Microsoft Internet Explorer (6.0 and higher)

To verify that you have java installed, go to http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp and click Verify Installation. Download the latest java plugin: http://www.java.com/en/ To enable java on your computer: Microsoft Internet Explorer (6.0 and higher)
